Virtual Wine Tasting Process
For those of you new to the tastings, we open two bottles together– available for purchase at Windham Wines– and talk with the winemaker or winery owner about terroir, grapes, farming practices and wine.
Come into the shop, buy the wines, leave us your email so that we can send the Zoom link. For the tasting, have your wines ready, prepare some snacks, and relax into the evening with some delicious conversation.

Nate Winters and Nate Wahl
We are looking forward to checking in with our friends at Troon Winery in southern Oregon’s Applegate Valley. It’s been a challenging early fall with the Almeda fire that burned within a few mile of Troon and generated a wall of smoke that poses its own threat to winemaking. Nate Winters kicked off our 2019-2020 tasting season with the most informative, well-organized, comprehensive presentation of biodynamics we’ve heard to date. For this tasting, we may also have Nate Wahl, Troon’s winemaker. We expect to taste together their Zinfandel and their Tannat.
