Beer

Stout

Young's Double Chocolate Stout

A very creamy, rich stout with strong notes of chocolate. Chocolate malt and real, dark chocolate are combined with Young's award winning, rich full-flavored dark beer resulting in a satisfyingly indulgent, but never overly sweet experience.

Rogue Chocolate Stout

A truly hedonistic experience, this stout is ebony in color with a rich, creamy head. The mellow flavor of oats, chocolate malts and real chocolate are balanced perfectly with the right amount of hops for a bittersweet finish.

St. Peter's Cream Stout

Rich milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and dark roast espresso. Much more bitter and roasty than the nose suggests, and it's not as sugary sweet as I thought it would be. Barky, woody, earthy, and very roasty for a milk stout. A darn good stout.

English Ale

St. Peter's English Ale

Pours a cloudy orange (bottle conditioned). Pleasant hoppy aroma. Nice malty sweet flavor and citrusy hops note.

Duchy Originals English Ale

The Duchy Originals Organic Ale is a ruby-coloured flavour-packed beer which combines the rich caramel flavours of the barley malt with the signature ripe orange nuance of the First Gold hop.

Porter

Samuel Smith's Taddy Porter

Very dark, fairly full in body and packed with flavor. Intense, dry and tangy.

Berkshire Brewing Co. Coffeehouse Porter

This dark masterpiece combines the taste of real organic coffee with the popular Drayman's porter. Robust coffee flavor comes via a special coffee extract made for Berkshire Brewing exclusively by Dean's Bean's.

Belgium Beers

Ommegang Witte

Crafted for summer drinking, this is a traditional white ale, or witbier; pale in color, with a high, white frothy head and refreshing flavors of orange, lemon, coriander, and wheat. Witte is also Brewery Ommegang's first ale to be offered on draft.

Saison Dupont

Dry with a fruity acidity (oranges?) and a nice hop flavor make this Belgian classic one of the most refreshing beers around.

Orval Trappist Ale

It really is unique, crisp, a bit sour, and full of spice and phenolics, with a fantastic drying and bittering finish

Lambic

Framboise Lambic

Sour raspberry aromas also show a hint of tart, winey character. A brisk, tart entry leads to a medium - bodied palate with a nice balance of sweetness and tartness. A sweeter example of the lambic style.

Germany

Pinkus Organic

Brewed with organic malt and hops, this beer is pale golden in color, dry and well-balanced. It has a clean hop and malt character.

Ayinger Brau - Weisse

A Bavarian Hefe Weisse with a light straw color, this very drinkable beer has some clove taste as well as wheat, bread and yeast tones. Wonderful with pretzels or a nice BBQ.

Monchshof Schwarz Beer

The taste is surprising. Though very dark, this beer lacks the roasted flavor found in stouts and porters. The aftertaste has a bitterness similar to dark chocolate. Schwarz is very balanced and enjoyable with a medium amount of body (i.e. it's not too thick or thin). It has a rich malt aroma and flavor, and a dry finish, leaving your mouth ready for more.
