Bodegas Alto Almanzora “Este”, Spain, 2006
Este is a combination of Monastrell, Tempranillo, Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot. Dark cherry in color, Este releases aromas of black fruits with a hint of herbs lightly poking through. On the palate you are greeted with cherries, black berries, currants, and minerals. Light woody traits, and a balanced mouth feel. Then you are left with a long, fruit filled finish.
